Moose are Starving to Death.....

Well it doesn't look so good for the moose. The huge amount of snow is making it hard for them to get enough food. If they are not to sick to move, then they are aggressive and disoriented. We have several still alive but we have lost 3 so far within the last week or so.

Keep your spirits up, spring is just around the corner. Take care of yourselves and enjoy the time you get to spend in close quarters with your family!

There were 10 cases in Alaska today with 2 of them in the Matanuska Valley. These are the first two cases here in the Valley. We are taking this seriously here at HBH and hunkering down. It was reported that many out of town people were observed heading to their recreational cabins here in Willow. People are flocking from the city to stay safe.

On a good note we have found toilet paper! That can be dropped off of the list for now but because of the buying restrictions we are not able to stock up as we have limited people doing supply runs.

Tomorrow starts the first day of the new Home School program for the children. The teachers were able to get all the computers and curriculum together for the kids and they are starting Monday. This should be fun for us all, and maybe a little crazy.

Lastly we here at HBH Command Center want everyone to take good care of themselves. We have implemented a new rule to help with the mental health of us here at Command Center. We are not listening to news until we have our morning coffee and wake up a while. Do not let this crisis take control over every moment of your life. Enjoy your cup of coffee and have a pleasant conversations with your loved ones before you dive into the virus first thing in the morning.

We Love you All

HBH Command Center Opens today to keep friends and family connected thru these hard times. Please take a look around the site. We have an Events and Actions page with links to very good sources of info on the Pandemic.

We here at HBH Command have been prepping and collecting supplies just like most are right now. However some community members are choosing to take this lightly and we encourage them to be prepared for their own sake and not take from others who prepared well.

Supplies have been running low in Alaska all over the country. We have reports from our Out of State Members that toilet paper is still scarce. Wash cloths, bleach, and a bucket might be your new TP!

This is also a reminder to our community to get fresh air if you can. We have reports members of our community losing their cool (you all know who). Take good care of your mental health right now and please don't panic or fight with your family members.

In the next few days we will be adding more features like a podcast from our HBH Community Pastor Jake Wilson.

Stay Safe Out There!

Love you all,

HoneyBee Hill
